International Children’s Day

To highlight the important role that children play as owners of the future we held a special celebration in school on World Children’s Day. Students dressed in national dress and gave speeches about their backgrounds, cultures and traditions. After the speeches, the students ate food from around the world which they had brought in then they danced two Scottish country dances known as The Dashing White Seargeant and Strip the Willow. The day ended with playing games from around the world. It was a fabulous day which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
