Our monthly Assemblies are an important part of school life. It is a time when students and teachers come together to share information, values, and experiences, we see that the Assemblies are a powerful tool for creating a positive school ethos.
The content of our Assemblies vary but they all foster a sense of belonging among students and staff. They provide an opportunity to celebrate achievements and reflect on recent events. We foster moral development through focusing on an IB Learner Profile trait each month.
Each month one of the classes leads the Assembly, giving an opportunity to develop communication and presentation skills. Awards are given which promote positive behaviour by reinforcing our values and the IB Learner Profile traits.
